To return a Oamaru Print product:
Please be sure to let us know in your email the date of your purchase, what you would like to return and why you want to return before couriering it back to us. You must place in a conspicuous place on the outside of the return parcel your name and contact number and order/invoice numbers.
Please examine your designs and draft copies carefully and correct any mistakes prior to confriming your order. In an effort to keep costs down and to avoid any substantial mistakes or cost to our customers, Oamaru Print does proof documents created prior to processing to printing.
What can be returned: Most of the items we sell can be returned. All returns must be returned before reprinting or a store credit is given. All items with the same error must be returned with no noticeable signs of use.
What cannot be returned: No returns will be accepted after 7 days of receipt of purchase. Items that are not in their original condition cannot be returned. Items with noticeable wear, or use of any description cannot be returned. Items must be in like new condition for return.
Oamaru Print takes great pride in its commitment to customer satisfaction. However, certain circumstances are beyond our control. Please note that we cannot be responsible for:
- Spelling, punctuation or grammatical errors made by the customer.
- Inferior quality or low-resolution of uploaded images.
- Design errors introduced by the customer in the design creation process.
- Errors in user-selected options such as product type or size.
- Error in print after you the customer have approved the draft copy – by email as PDF or by hard copy.
Returns for refund: must be made within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
Returns for exchange or store credit: must be made within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
Shipping charges for products returned: All shipping charges for returning products to us must be paid by the returnee. We do not reimburse shipping charges.
For invoices not settled within the agreed credit terms, Oamaru Print reserves the right to charge interest on the overdue debt at 20% and an administration fee to cover its debt recovery costs.
Full colour printing - All reasonable efforts shall be made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction on customer's work but variation is inherent in the print process and it is understood and accepted as reasonable that, Oamaru Print shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between the customer's photograph, transparency, proof, electronic graphic file, previously printed matter (whether printed by Oamaru Print or other party) or any other materials supplied by the customer and the printed article the subject of the customer's order.
Data Protection - By placing an order with Oamaru Print, the customer consents to its details being passed on to Oamaru Print for accounting and marketing purposes. The details will be kept by Oamaru Print even after the customer's trading relationship withOamaru Print has terminated. Oamaru Print may use the customer's personal data to let customers know about goods and services similar to the goods or services provided to the customer previously and any others matters that Oamaru Print consider may be of interest to customers.

Proofs - Proofs of all work may be submitted for customer's approval and Oamaru Print shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected by the customer in proofs so submitted. Additional charges shall be made for any additional proofs that are required as a result of alterations required by the customer. When style, type or layout is left to the Oamaru Print's discretion, any subsequent changes to such style, type or layout required by the customer shall be subject to additional charges on a time and materials basis.
Copyright - Unless negotiated and agreed in writing, the copyright of general artwork, commissioned artwork and illustrations and anything else whatsoever prepared, developed or created by Oamaru Print shall vest in and belong to Oamaru Print. Oamaru Print may use any artwork or printing produced by itself for the purposes of promoting itself and/or PDC. The customer shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary authorities and consents to reproduce pictures, artwork, photographs, copyright text and/or any other reproducible materials ("Materials") prior to instructing Oamaru Print to reproduce the same. The customer shall indemnify and hold Oamaru Print and its agents and representatives harmless against all claims, demands, actions, costs, expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and disbursements), losses and damages arising from or suffered or incurred by reason of any claim (including but not limited to the defence of such claim) that the reproduction of the Materials by Oamaru Print infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party or misuses the confidential information of a third party.
Liability - Oamaru Print gives no warranties or guarantees or makes any representations as to the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any completed work the subject of a customer's order and all other warranties, conditions, guarantees or representations, whether express or implied, oral or in writing, except as expressly stated in these terms and conditions are hereby excluded. Oamaru Print shall not be liable for any loss arising from delay in transit not caused by Oamaru Print. Further, Oamaru Print shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, economic loss, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings or loss of data. The total aggregate liability of Oamaru Print in respect of any and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with the customer's order and Oamaru Print performance of services pursuant to such order (whether for breach of contract, strict liability, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), misrepresentation or otherwise) shall (subject to the provisions of paragraph 10) be limited to the sums paid to Oamaru Print by the customer in respect of the order pursuant to which liability has arisen. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be construed so as to limit or exclude liability which cannot, pursuant to NZ Law, be excluded or limited including for death or personal injury or liability in respect of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We can also deliver directly to your premises, or anywhere you like. We use reputable overnight carriers who publish an on-time success rate of 90%.
If you order 2 or more items, we may despatch each as soon as it’s ready. Don’t worry though, we’ll only charge you for delivery once. We charge delivery based on the total weight of your order, so the more you order, the cheaper each item gets. We’ll show you the delivery price of any item before you purchase it.

If you’d like your order delivered to more than one address, or further afield than NZ, please contact us for a quote.
We will insure to use the best courier in order to get your goods delivered in a timely manner at the best rate. We will not markup the cost of freight, but will charge for time and labour in relation to couriering or posting your printed work.
Freight will be encluded in your quoted before your job is printed.
Extra fees will be charged for overnight courier if required by the customer.
Couriering can take 2-3 working days for delivery after your product is printed and paid.
Get them quicker
You’ve got the power to make us work even more quickly. With our new flexible turnaround options, you can choose your turnaround time. Our low prices mean we have to work ultra efficiently, so speeding up your order means we rack up lots of extra costs. To help contribute to these costs, we add a small premium to the normal print price – it’s only fair. For instance, a print item with normal turnaround of 3 working day is also available in 1 working days with our V.I.P Service – the less urgent your order is, the lower your price is.
Same day despatch service
Left it to the last minute? Or someone just sprung something on you? No problem! Approve your artwork by 10am and we’ll despatch your order the same working day on a wide range of items. Just Let us know when creating your order and we guarantee we’ll despatch your order the very same day or pick up from our shop by 5pm. Subject to supply of materail and volume.
Our services rely on the customer not delaying the progress of the order in any way (which delays include but are not limited to the customer not returning proofs by the time specified by Oamaru Print or failing to make payment by the time such payment is due) (a "Customer Delay"). In the event of a Customer Delay or courier delay out of Oamaru Print controll - the customer shall not be awarded a Credit and the customer shall still be obliged to pay the VIP Charges but Oamaru Print shall not be bound to deliver within the orginal Guaranteed Period.
